Nature's Scream in the Wake of progress

Humans are clever, we invent and innovate. We design, we build, better stronger, faster, never ending, relentless progress.
From ancient cities rediscovered in jungles to the remains of wooden poles disintegrating in the ground, humans have gathered, flourished and then left. We dig metals up from the earth, to put them back in the earth.
We sweep through like termites leaving debris in our wake.
Papatūānuku, Gaia, Nature, mops up as best she can.
