Farewell Spit
It's highly rated
and DOC dictated
with iron fist
But who pays the price in this educational enterprice
Another tourist on the rich list
Our touristic toll road
A quick tidal offload
owned by the government
Slow going over quicksand
where the rules of the land
are written by natures hand.
And the birds scream
